It did not work the first time we tried it. In conclusion, a piece of junk. I returned this product almost as soon as I recieved it. I read many multiple reviews before purchasing and obviously should have paid closer attention to everyone's dissapointment.
Now that I know how to properly use it, I will continue to filter my cooking oils without making any mess. By recycling your $$peanut oil, it pays for itself after only one use. This is my second Eastman cooking oil filter pump. It's a great time saver too.
A must have. I could not just buy the switch from the manufacturer and had to buy the whole pump. Great product. I bought this to replace my old one after the switch went bad. This is a great product for pumping the oil out of the turkey fryer.
I would "never" suggest this product until they have addressed the above issues. One switch would "not" move into position at all, the other would, however, no action. Both seemed to have on/off switch issues. Both have been returned and a refund requested. I thought it was just bad luck. I've purchased two of these little jewels, both arived in a timely manner, but neither of them worked. I purchased new batteries thinking that was the problem, still no action.
Works as advertised. I would recommend using new batteries and submersing the pump half-way down as to not suck up food waste at the bottom of the pot.
